Are you ready?
I'm certainly getting excited for Murderball 2020, I hope you are too?! If you haven't reserved your place already, why not?!
Just a couple of months away, these things come round so quickly even when you start working on them a year out! Naturally, there are some businesses that are able to confirm straight away, others have to get lots of ducks in a row first; Yet I'm pleased to say however, that with still two months to go we have 7 teams already competing in Murderball 2020 and over a 100 coming to the gala dinner, hosted by Kai Horstmann :) I'm confident we will have the 10 teams I'm hoping for by April, nevertheless the Murderball train is in full swing and this thing is happening! I'm also aiming for the target of over a 150 / 15 tables surrounding the dance floor attending the gala dinner - we will be in for a fun night!
A would like to say a huge welcome to Deloitte who will be entering not 1, but 2 teams, in order to do exactly what Murderball Rugby say's on the tin:
Challenge your Comfort Zone
Teamwork and task sharing skills
Greater understanding of disability and wheelchair users
Deloitte are doing fantastic work with the UK charity SCOPE with their 'One Million Futures' program, a portion of the money raised by deloitte's employees for this event, I'm proud to say will also go to this great cause in supporting disabled people. Read more here.
Deloitte joins our already confirmed attendees:
Darby and Darby Law
Whether there is 70 of you at the day or 100 at the day, I promise by the end of it you will be left exhausted but beaming from ear to ear! I always personally find it incredibly amusing sending a completely able bodied person on a mission, using a wheelchair for transport, with no standing up! If you haven't watched the video already click here https://youtu.be/Y_Ovd_INIXQ - here is what you're in for = FUN!
I'm looking forward to welcoming you all and please do pass this post on to any colleagues you think may be interested in the team building day, or simply joining us and buying a table in the evening. James @ murderballrugby.com
Happy Friday Folks
